Folly Farm is launching its Winter Weekends programme from 7 November to 20 December 2026, with daily opening until 1 November, then weekends only plus select Fridays in December. The festive season features Santa's Grotto (£9.50 per child with gift), a Snow Globe with seasonal characters, a VR sleigh ride experience, gingerbread decoration activities, and a prize trail throughout the park.
Folly Farm has retained its certification under the Animal Assured Attraction Scheme (AAAS) for the third year running, demonstrating commitment to health and safety standards. The accreditation, held by only a third of UK farm attractions, recognises the farm's compliance with biosecurity measures and safe guest interaction protocols.

Folly Farm is hosting extensive Halloween-themed activities and attractions throughout October, culminating in a dedicated October Half Term programme from 24 October to 1 November. Events include scarecrow trails, pumpkin carving, VR haunted experiences, meet-and-greet sessions with animals, and daily keeper talks on venoms versus poisons.
Folly Farm is replacing its 30-year-old Royal Fortune Pirate Ship with a new, fully accessible play structure as the final phase of its pirate-themed adventure area development. The new ship will feature wheelchair-accessible ramps, low-level interactive play areas, and improved play value, with construction beginning soon.
The zoo's Conservation Officer has been leading efforts to restore native wildflower meadows on the zoo's grasslands over the past five years, working with local neighbours and Pembrokeshire College students. The initiative addresses the loss of 97% of traditional meadows since the 1930s and provides habitat for pollinators and insects while producing hay to feed zoo animals during winter.
A newly themed and upgraded enclosure called Macaque Medina has opened to house the zoo's Barbary macaque troop. The exhibit features indoor and outdoor spaces with climbing structures, a bio floor for foraging, a pond and tree house-style shelter designed to encourage natural behaviours.

Folly Farm Holiday Park in Pembrokeshire has become one of the first UK sites to earn the Perfect Pitch Badge, a verified stamp of approval for campsites that genuinely cater to awning users. The park features super-sized pitches (10m × 12m) on hardstanding gravel with generous spacing, clear awning policies communicated at booking, and fully serviced facilities including electric hook-up and Wi-Fi.

Folly Farm is offering Mini Vet sessions for children aged 4-8 on select Mondays throughout the summer holidays, where young visitors can learn animal health checking at the Lion Research Centre. Sessions last 30 minutes, cost £4 per person, and profits are donated to conservation partner Wildlife Vets International.
Folly Farm will feature pop-up pirate play sessions daily at the Pirate Island play area throughout the summer holidays, with additional character meet-and-greets featuring Henrietta the hen and Meep the sheep. Visitors are encouraged to photograph the characters and share on social media.
Folly Farm is offering glitter tattoos daily from 2:30–4pm near the VR ride and bar, featuring animal and character designs. Tattoos cost £5 per person or two for £8.
Folly Farm will celebrate World Lion Day on Tuesday 11 August with keeper talks, feeding demonstrations, crafts, and a special conservation talk by James from Safina Lion Conservation. All donations collected will support lion conservation work in the wild.
Folly Farm will host a daily Zoo Discovery Table at 12pm outside the Lion Research Centre, featuring animal specimens such as skull replicas, teeth, and fur alongside expert staff. Visitors can learn about animals both in the zoo and in the wild.
Folly Farm is offering daily meet and greet sessions at the barn where visitors can get close to a variety of animals with the Jolly Farmers team. Times and featured animals vary throughout the day.
Folly Farm is bringing back its popular 'Mini Vet' interactive sessions throughout the summer school holidays, running on Mondays from 27 July to 24 August. Children aged 4–8 can learn animal health checks from the zoo team, receive a certificate, and help raise funds for conservation partner Wildlife Vets International.
