Blair Drummond Safari Park is hosting HalloWILD from 10th to 31st October 2026, a family-friendly Halloween event with no jump scares or frightening elements. The event features a trick-or-treat trail, hay bale play-pit, giant hay bale spiders, marshmallow toasting, and a fancy dress competition on 31st October, alongside regular safari park attractions.
The zoo will open its gates earlier than usual on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September to accommodate visitors attending Radio 2 in the Park in Stirling. Members can enter from 9am, regular ticket holders from 9.30am, and attractions from 10am to help guests avoid traffic congestion around the 11am event start.
The zoo's annual Vulture Day takes place on Saturday, 5 September, from 10am–4pm outside the sea lion pool with interactive educational activities led by the Education Team. Visitors can explore feather identification, build food webs, use telemetry equipment, dissect owl pellets, and enter a tombola with prizes including Bird of Prey Flying Display tickets, with all proceeds supporting the Vulpro conservation initiative.
'A Blair Drummond Christmas' runs from 27 November to 23 December, with early bird tickets now on sale at 20% discount. The seasonal event includes Santa's sleigh fly-bys, Elf Central interactive hub, North Pole Outpost, Jingle Express train ride, and full access to the safari park attractions.
The zoo's popular Safari Saver Deal is back throughout September, offering discounted late-afternoon visits from 3pm to 5.30pm on weekdays. Adults pay £7.50, children £5.50, and students/seniors £6.50, with even lower guest rates available for members.
Blair Drummond Safari Park is hosting a special Big Cat Day on Saturday 8th August from 10am to 4pm at the lion house, featuring interactive challenges, enrichment activities, and talks about lion conservation. The Namibian Lion Trust will be present to share their work protecting lions in Namibia, with proceeds supporting the zoo's Link to the Wild fundraising initiative.
The zoo is hosting a full day of conservation activities on Saturday 25th July from 10:00am to 4:00pm, featuring expert talks, hands-on activities, and interactive displays focused on native UK wildlife. Three young Kunekune piglets named Big Brenda, Medium Margo, and Tiny Tina have recently arrived at Blair Drummond Safari Park's Pets' Farm. The friendly piglets, a native New Zealand breed known for their short legs, rounded bodies, and distinctive chin wattles, have quickly settled in and are eager for visitor interaction.
FeaturedPets' Farm has welcomed four young giant rabbits, a mix of Continental Giant and French Lop breeds, currently around four months old. The rabbits will grow to weigh between 5kg and 10kg as adults, and visitors are invited to vote on their names from two themed options.

Blair Drummond Safari Park has welcomed four rescue chickens to its Pets' Farm for the first time since 2023. The birds—three hens and a cockerel named Claire, Faye, Lisa, and H after the pop group Steps—were rehomed from the Scottish SPCA with support from Five Sisters Zoo.

A purpose-built Lions' Den has opened, designed to improve animal welfare and keeper operations while offering visitors new viewing opportunities. The habitat allows lions greater flexibility in their daily routines and enables keepers to conduct husbandry, training, and veterinary care in a calm environment.
A new behind-the-scenes experience allows four guests to join keepers before park opening to witness the lions' morning routine and feeding session. Participants will learn about positive reinforcement training and enjoy breakfast in a VIP viewing room as the pride enters their habitat.
