Glasgow zoo trials CreatureConnect system allowing lemurs and visitors to share sensory experiences

Researchers from the University of Glasgow tested an innovative interactive device called CreatureConnect with the zoo's five red ruffed lemurs, enabling shared control of sounds, visuals, and scents between animals and visitors. The study found that lemurs were most engaged when control was shared with people, while visitors reported stronger connections with the animals and spent more time observing them.
