Two Humboldt penguin chicks hatch at Penguin Coast as part of European breeding programme

Two vulnerable Humboldt penguin chicks, named Apollo and Artemis, hatched on 16 and 17 April at the zoo's Penguin Coast exhibit. The chicks are the first penguin births since 2024 and are part of the European Breeding Programme for this at-risk species.
