Newquay Zoo to redevelop South American habitat following tapir arrivals

Newquay Zoo plans to further develop its South American habitat, including the return of capybaras as a compatible pairing alongside the newly arrived Brazilian tapir Tamara. The habitat previously housed a male tapir named Al and capybara Johnson, both of whom passed away earlier this year.
