Chester Zoo hosts Met Office weather summit with UK tourism leaders

Chester Zoo is hosting a summit on 13 July bringing together the Met Office, government officials, and heads of 16 major UK visitor attractions to address how weather forecast icons are displayed on apps. The meeting aims to produce jointly agreed recommendations to fix misleading rain forecasts that have been costing attractions up to £137,000 per day in lost visitors.
