Banham Zoo celebrates birth of two red panda cubs

Two red panda cubs were born on 22 June 2025 at Banham Zoo to parents Jasper and Lushan, marking an important milestone for the endangered species. The birth was part of the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme, with fewer than 2,500 red pandas believed to remain in the wild due to habitat loss and poaching.
