Britain's oldest Asiatic lion, Kamal, dies at 16 at Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park

Kamal, an Asiatic lion who reached the remarkable age of 16 and became Britain's oldest of his species in captivity, has passed away at Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park. Born in Germany in 2010, Kamal travelled internationally before arriving in the UK in 2016 as part of a European breeding programme, fathering three female cubs who continue his legacy at other zoos.
