Goeldi's monkey birth at Drusillas Zoo supports vulnerable species conservation

A Goeldi's monkey baby born on 4th May to parents Violet and Neville represents an important conservation success for a species listed as 'Vulnerable' on the IUCN Red List. The birth contributes to EAZA Ex Situ Programmes designed to maintain healthy backup populations of threatened species in zoos.
