Ring-tailed lemurs return to Drusillas Park after century-long history

Ring-tailed lemurs, among the original animals when Drusillas Park opened over a century ago, have returned in greater numbers with the arrival of 12 new individuals. The species is classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, with wild populations declining due to habitat loss, hunting, and the illegal pet trade.
