Kochi the red panda arrives at Woburn Safari Park from France

Kochi, a young male red panda born in June 2025, has arrived at Woburn Safari Park from a wildlife collection in Bordeaux, France on 31st July, marking the first red panda arrival since 2019. The move was coordinated through the EAZA Ex situ Programme breeding recommendation to support conservation of the endangered species and identify Kochi as a suitable future breeding partner for the park's resident female, Mali.
