Baby pygmy hippo born at Edinburgh Zoo to mother Gloria

A pygmy hippo calf was born on 31 July 2026 to parents Otto and Gloria at Edinburgh Zoo. The youngster is being cared for by Gloria, with the zoo keeping the pair in private time until they are ready for public viewing.
