Hertfordshire Zoo meets UK Nature Minister to advance species reintroduction agenda

Hertfordshire Zoo's Conservation Programme Manager Andrea Dempsey attended a roundtable with UK Nature Minister Mary Creagh MP and representatives from DEFRA and Natural England to discuss species reintroductions and conservation translocations. The meeting followed successful advocacy by BIAZA members, including Hertfordshire Zoo, to have reintroductions and conservation translocations included in the government's Environmental Improvement Plan as a key action for halting wildlife decline by 2030.
