CBBC star Brazilian tapir Tamara arrives at Newquay Zoo from Hertfordshire

A ten-year-old female Brazilian tapir named Tamara, known to young viewers from the CBBC series One Zoo Three, has arrived at Newquay Zoo after relocating from Hertfordshire Zoo on 27 April. She has settled into the South American habitat and is part of an international EAZA breeding programme to maintain healthy populations of this vulnerable species.
