Brazilian tapir Tamara joins EAZA conservation breeding programme at Newquay Zoo

The arrival of Brazilian tapir Tamara at Newquay Zoo forms part of an international breeding programme coordinated by the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) to maintain healthy populations of threatened species.
