Welsh Mountain Zoo to relocate three California Sea Lions to Colchester Zoo

Welsh Mountain Zoo has announced plans to relocate its three California Sea Lions to Colchester Zoo in early autumn as part of welfare-led improvements. The move follows a review of their current habitat, which the zoo recognises is no longer suitable long-term without significant redevelopment, though the animals will remain at Welsh Mountain Zoo throughout the summer.
