UK's largest seagrass restoration project launches in Cornwall

The Ocean Conservation Trust and Cornwall Wildlife Trust have begun a £1.8 million marine recovery programme to restore 10 hectares of seagrass meadow in Falmouth Bay and native oyster populations across the Fal and Helford Special Areas of Conservation. The three-year Mor Nature project aims to contribute to government targets to increase seagrass by 15% by 2043 and will involve multiple partners including the Zoological Society of London and the University of Exeter.
