Archaeological discovery reveals historic watermill at zoo site during summer heat

Extreme summer heat has exposed archaeological remains of a long-lost watermill at the Park, revealing hidden features of the estate's historical landscape. The watermill was fed by a 'leat' (water channel) that is believed to have given the Estate its name.
