Marwell Wildlife staff leads IUCN Red List reassessments for all 150 antelope species

Sophie Whitemore is undertaking comprehensive reassessments of the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species and Green Status of Species for all 150 antelope species and subspecies, with assessments now nearly a decade out of date. Her work also includes original research on Extinct in the Wild species, developing criteria to quantify conservation support needs for populations held only in zoos, botanic gardens, and aquariums.
